04 | TOMORROW’S CLEANING | The future of our cleaning industry EDITOR’S VOICE

Hello everyone and welcome to the February issue of Tomorrow’s Cleaning.

Well, February is already here and it’s actually scary to see how quickly 2012 is going already – particularly as my due date is looming ever closer!

February is the month of love, and when you’re not too busy being spoilt and working out who the mystery admirer is, get thinking about what you love about the cleaning industry. I’ve been involved in this industry for almost three years now and I still get impressed with how hard its members work and how creative the products can be.

If you haven’t seen them already – make sure you check out our Tomorrow’s Cleaning Product Awards, which list our top 50 products of the year. You can find more about this on page 23!

This month I’ve also been visiting some fantastic companies and enjoying two factory tours at both Greyland and Milliken. I hope you enjoy my findings and enjoy learning more about two inspirational cleaning companies.

Aside from this, our February issue looks at Healthcare & Hospital Hygiene, which is increasingly more important as the level of hospital breakouts are still on the rise. Hopefully some of the advice and innovations included in this issue will combat this. We’ve also looked at Graffiti & Gum Removal and Health & Safety in this issue – so it’s time for you to get stuck in and feel safe in the knowledge of our fantastic contributors (excuse the puns)!

This is all on top of the latest news, products and all of those extra Tomorrow’s Cleaning regulars that we hope you love!

Enjoy the issue!

Charlotte Taylor, Editor B.A. (Hons) Journalism
