MEMBER PROFILE Name: Ewan Skinner Company: Ewan Skinner Ltd Member number: 3963 Member since: 04/08/2017
I have been digger daft for as long as I can remember and was always looking for an excuse to buy my first machine. Being a Plant Fitter by trade, I bought my first mini digger in 2012 and spent many hours repairing it back to working standard. I then used this digger to start doing small private work.
After a small space of time, I traded my mini digger in to buy my first Volvo. I mainly work in the private sector, working alongside other trades, and carrying out agricultural work as well.
I have stuck more to the smaller mini and midi 360 excavators, as they meet our requirements best.
How did you hear about the Operators Club?
Being a Volvo fanatic for years, I was looking for some merchandise and found the Operators Club while searching online.
What made you join the club? I joined up as soon as I found the Operators Club. I thought it looked brilliant and was looking forward to finding out new information on new machines and attachments.
What do you like about being a member?
I like being a member, as I find it to be a great source of information on the kit that some of the other members have. I also like getting a look at what’s coming up in the future. I also feel it’s a great place to get honest opinions on machines and attachments.
Do you interact with other Operators Club members?
I interact with Operators from all over the country. Being based in Inverness, North Scotland, I always find it interesting to see where other Operators are working, and what conditions they are working in. I always find good comments and feedback from the other members.
