Welcome to this edition of Wiscon- sin School Musician – our longstanding flagship publica- tion, serving as a collective profes- sional resource for music educators since 1930. For

over 94 years, WSM has evolved to meet the ever-changing times and needs of its readers. Today, WSM is published exclu- sively in digital format, utilizing some of the latest advancements in technology to engage readers according to their prefer- ences across a full spectrum of electronic platforms and devices.

Beyond digital publishing, technology has globalized our world, providing efficient and effective ways to create, produce, learn, teach, share and preserve music that transcends boundaries. Both teachers and students are leading the way to utilizing technological advancements in ways never before imagined. Technology opens up new avenues for musical exploration and expression.

This WSM issue explores the new age of technology with tips for its use inside and outside the music classroom to all areas of the globe. From artificial intelligence to so- cial media to a plethora of other innovative digital tools, writers dive into technology and share some of the best (and worst) applications (and implications) for music education in our modern world.

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, adaptability is key to embracing innovation and empowering students to navigate the digital world confidently. In this journey through the digital age, there is an opportu- nity to harness the power of technology to inspire and enrich music education for all.
