Re/sound: Songs of Wisconsin Project Summer 2024

PBS Wisconsin Education and Wisconsin School Music Association have partnered to create cul- turally authentic resources that are easily acces- sible for you and your students. If you haven’t taken the time to view these resources on the PBS Wisconsin Education website or the over 100 additional fully searchable resources on the WSMA Re/sound resource pages, plan to do so this summer. Video resources on music, performers, culture, identity, music composition and performances are all provided. Educator guides with lesson ideas and the accompanying resources support knowledge, skill and affective outcomes. In addition, social emotional lessons have been created to match each lesson. State DPI and WMEA music standards included in the lesson are provided as are numerous extensions to various student experiences and knowledge levels. Curricular connections to science, history, literature and other arts are also included, provid- ing opportunities for work with other educator teams in your building. Help each one of your students see themselves in the performer, music and great resources you share with them through Re/sound.

Mailing List Rental Opt Out On occasion, WSMA and WMEA rent membership mailing lists to interested parties, such as colleges

Members may opt out of these lists by logging into their personal account portal profile (wsma.users.membersuite.com) and checking the "Opt Out of Mailing List Rental" box, or by emailing info@wsmamusic.org.
