Process Measurement and Analysis
Online Coagulant Dose control for Chemical Phosphorus Removal with Com::pass CPR.
Removal of Phosphorus from wastewater is expensive, with increasingly tighter discharge limits applied.
Removal uses Ferric coagulant precipitation-settlement techniques, but controlling this addition is often crude, and overdosing can lead to Iron consent breaches and a waste of expensive chemicals.
Com::pass CPR employs novel Submersible Spectrometry techniques to assess coagulant demand more scientifically by additionally accounting for other competing factors affecting P removal, such as Solids and Organics loading.
Using real time data in a feed forward mode saves money and improves effluent quality.
