IF YOU want to find a new career, improve your confidence and help make a difference to other people, then volunteering could be for you.

GHA’s partner Loretto

Care is offering a series of new volunteer placements for young people in our communities. Placements will be in youth

work, sport, animal care, social media and fundraising, among other things. They are for young people aged 16-30, who can commit to 20-30 hours per week for three months, and are able to

travel to Glasgow. It’s a great chance to increase

your skills, improve your CV, meet new people – and even land your dream job. There will be lots of support

available for volunteers, including a mentor and workshops on interview skills. There will also be help to

write a CV. If you’re claiming benefits,

they won’t be affected. You’ll also get travel expenses. If you’re interested, or you

know someone who is, call 0141 274 5909 or email emma.hanlonlorettoha.co.uk
