Gardens are set to bloom
GHA gardens will be given a Royal seal of approval this summer. Garden
competitions organised by GHA across the city will be judged by staff from the prestigious Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh. The winners - which will be announced at the end of the summer – will be awarded a certificate from the Royal Botanic Garden. Talk to your housing officer about what’s happening near you.
FROM 9 TO 90, TENANTS OF ALL AGES ARE FINDING OUR Wee Ted helps tenants sign up
WEE online Ted – last issue’s cover star – is helping tenants sign up for a My GHA account. The furry little teddy bear was
pictured using GHA’s online services as he went about his daily routine. From grabbing a coffee to doing his shopping, online Ted helped us show how easy and convenient our online services are.
He was able to book a fuel advice appointment while on the bus, and even catch up on the latest news while relaxing in his scratcher. We hoped it was a humorous way of making an important point. Tenant John Rush, from Royston, agreed.
John said: “I thought it was funny, but I can see the
message behind it. “I thought it worked well – a bit
of fun and a bit of seriousness at the same time.” Tenant Heather Mann, from Knightswood, added: “I really enjoyed the section in the magazine about the GHA teddy - it made me laugh.”
