Nanodyne Measurement Systems, Inc.


We incorporated as Neonics, Inc. on January 7, 1987, to provide advanced electronic


transformers for neon signs. We provided replacement parts for aſtermarket repair of 1970’s IBM tape drives (now only seen on old Sci-Fi movies). We changed our name to Nanodyne Measurement Systems in 2004 aſter shiſting to nanomechanical test instruments. From 2009 to 2016 we developed a test socket for hard drive sliders, and were the sole supplier, delivering about 200,000 units.


Since 2015, the focus of our business has been replacement LED microscope illuminators. All our products are designed and manufactured in Minneapolis, MN USA. We take pride in designing and producing high-quality, durable, long-lasting products. All of our microscope illuminators are covered by a full 3 year warranty. Below are some of the illuminators we provide.


• Bausch and Lomb StereoZoom Illuminator – Te Nanodyne Bausch and Lomb StereoZoom illuminator is a direct replacement for the original Nicholas illuminator. It also replaces the American Optical/Reichert model 650 illuminator. It is 27 times brighter than the original, while using only 15% of the power at maximum brightness. Te light is a clean white rather than yellow, and free from the projected images of dust and dirt that plagued the original. Intensity control for all our illuminators is continuous from zero to 100%.


• StereoZoom Microscope Ring Light – Attaches with non-rotating brass jaws that won’t break like the flimsy screws on other units, and won’t chew up your scope. Very compact design is excellent for hand assembly under the scope.


• Pointer Light Illuminators – We supply one general purpose pointer light that fits several Olympus and Nikon microscope models, and one designed specifically to replace the Nikon THP pointer light.


• Nikon Illuminators – Replacements available for models Alphaphot, C-DSS, Diaphot, E200, E400, E600, E800, 50i, 55i, 80i, Ci, Ci-L, TE200, TE2000, TS100, Epiphot, L200, Labophot, LV100, MM40, Optiphot, THP Pointer Light, TMS, and UM-2.


• Olympus Illuminators – Replacements available for models BH, BH-2, BH2-UMA, BHS, BX40-41, BX43, BX45-46, BX50-51, BX60-61, CH, CH-2, CH30, CHBS, CK2, CK40, CKX41, CX31, CX40, CX41, FH, IMT-2, PMG3, SZ, and SZX-ILLK.


• Leica Illuminators – Replacements available for DM1000, DMLB 30 and 100W, DMLS, DMR, Microstar IV, and Polyvar SC.


• Leitz Wetzlar Illuminators – Replacements available for Dialux 22, Laborlux, HM LUX, Labovert FS, and SM LUX.


• Surgical/Dental/ENT Scopes – Replacements available for Leica M655, Zeiss OPMI-1 and OPMI1-FC, and Wallach ZoomScope.


• Zeiss Illuminators – Replacements available for Amplival, AXIO LAB.A1, AXIO Vert.A1, Axioskop, Axiostar, Axiovert, HAL 100 lamp house, KF 2, and Standard.
