JULY 2021 THE RIDER/ 7 Niagara Barrel Racing Club Announces 10 Year Partnership with Norfolk County Fairgrounds By J. Ross Edwards
Well it’s official. The NBRC is
thrilled to announce a 10 year partnership with the Norfolk County Fair- grounds in Simcoe, ON. The ink is still fresh
on the contract but we are ready to announce our plans.
Starting immedi-
ately the footing will be installed inside the build- ing as well as all panels for horse and rider safety. We cannot thank Steve
Wright enough with the Keystone Horse Centre in Bloomsburg, PA for overseeing the footing project. Anyone that has run on their grounds knows it’s the nicest foot- ing in the USA. Our
incredible
sponsor, Lafarge, has partner with NBRC on the build project to sup- ply their incredible foot- ing materials to ensure safe, fast ground. They are already working on the list provided by Steve Wright and we know they
will be ready July 9 when the doors open for assem- bly.
Next we address the
outdoor pens. They will be completely redone. This is not only
going to benefit NBRC but it gives the amazing Norfolk Saddle Club a safe outdoor facility as they will be able to re- sume their horse shows on safe grounds as they
were unable to do so. We must thank our
incredible Sponsor Ko- diak Steel Buildings for making the trip to inspect the integrity of this build- ing before we made the
commitment. They are who we trust when it comes to Steel Indoor Buildings and the build- ing passed with flying colours. Next:
STALLS.
There are 200 stalls avail- able on these beautiful grounds to NBRC Mem- bers. And they are WALK AWAY stalls! This means on Sundays load up your horses and head out and leave the cleaning to us. There are electrical hook ups on site, access to

fresh water, and 10 acres of grass parking to host our competitors. NBRC is very ex-
