A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT By Don Brunner, President
Hello everyone, I hope you are hav- ing a great start to the summer. We have a few fun events coming up over the next few months.

First, the BB Riverboat Cruise is scheduled for Friday, July 9 from 2 pm to 5 pm. This is always a great event...rain or shine. Music, friends, refreshments... and more. Please call the association to get signed up; I know we are almost at capacity. If you have a ticket please be at the dock no later than 1:30 pm as the boat departs promptly at 2 pm.
Next up is the annual Trade Show. It’s exciting to think we will have our whole group together again. This year, the show is Thursday, August 12. We have a great lineup of education class- es and executive forums confirmed to kick things off before the showroom doors open to the general membership at 5 pm. There will be plenty of prizes, games, and giveaways throughout the en- tire evening ending with the cash grand prize drawings at 7:30 pm. So please mark your calendars for August 12 at the Sharonville Convention Center. The Associate Council - along with Michele Klusman from the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky
Apartment Association (GCNKAA) - do an amazing job with this event. What is a bigger opportunity to feel like we are back to nor- mal again than to hear Mark on the microphone and prizes being given away alongside more than 600 of your closest friends? One of the great things our association does is work hard,
play hard, and raise money. We switch from the fun of the boat cruise and the tradeshow to legislative issues. As I mentioned be- fore, Pat Crowley has stepped into the legislative position with the GCNKAA at a time when we need all hands on deck. Our legisla- tive committee - headed by Justin Seger with HILLS Properties and Brian Fullenkamp with Legacy Management - working along- side with first Charles, and now Pat, have done an outstanding job meeting with representatives from both sides of the river. But this committee still needs your help. Ideally, we would have an individual from each member company getting the word out and relaying key contacts within each city that may be of assistance in lobbying as new measures are introduced. With critical elec- tions happening in our areas this fall, we still have a number of politicians to contact. Please let the association know if you - or someone from your company - are interested in joining the legisla- tive committee.
