THE L & L NIPPERT CHARITABLE FOUNDATION GRANT BENEFITS AAO FOOD PANTRIES Last December, AAO was awarded a $30,000 grant to sup-
port our food pantry partners, and after providing much needed equipment to several of our partners, in June, we made a donation of $1,200 each to our 20 food pantries (a total of $24,000). They were incredibly grateful for this additional aid!

AAO NEWSLETTER: Please keep an eye out for the Outreach newsletter in July as it gives wonderful insights into the work of our staff, our volunteers, our members and our partners. If any of your companies have a story to share about your philanthropy in support of the greater community, then please share by sending your infor- mation to Susan Peck at
susan@gcnkaa.org. We love to highlight the positive community impact from the efforts of our members!
I look forward to July 31 at Friendship Park when we can all
enjoy time together to help Outreach raise much needed funds, and I am grateful that our lives are returning slowly but surely to “normal.” I am excited about the remainder of 2021, and I remain most apprecia- tive for the generosity of our membership. Remember what Winston Churchill said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” I hope you will join me in donating to help those in need, in helping to give back to our community that has provided so much to us, and in doing so our industry shines as a positive example for all to see. Thank you!
