Dear Baby Project Supporters


We continue to experience the inspiration of seeing this project burst into new life and bear new fruit. There is so much to share with you this month.


A LETTER FROM MICHELLE (DAVENTRY AREA BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT TEAM) AND ITS CHANGE OF NAME


She writes, “I wanted to let you know we are moving forward with a new project name and expansion. We have changed our name on Facebook to Milk &You. This is because of recent local government changes and a successful grant application to extend our work to a wider community. Our vision is that no mother is ever left feeling Isolated during the early years of parenting and all are given the opportunity to build social networks that reflect their cultural, social and emotional health needs. Every mother who chooses to breastfeed will feel part of a community that supports her to do so with confidence.” We shall as a church project, continue to support their work and this specific aim to reduce health inequalities by targeting groups where breastfeeding is unlikely to be the norm and where additional support is required. We shall now be using M & Y (Milk & You) instead of DABS in our future newsletters
