3.1 Habitat is a region in which living things exist,  an ecosystem is the interaction between a community and its habitat. 


3.2 Population is a single type of species,  a community is when more than one type of species co-exists. 


3.3 A biotic factor is a living part of an ecosystem,  an abiotic factor is a non-living part of an ecosystem. 

4.1 The Pacific sea otters were hunted and their population decreased.  (1) 4.2 The sea otter populations decreased.  Sea otters are the predators of kelp- grazing sea urchins whose population now increased.  Sea urchins eat kelp and so the kelp forests collapsed  as the urchin population was so high.  (4)
