• This is a group activity. • Ask learners to study the two pictures on page 47 and discuss in their groups different ways in which people act irresponsibly towards the environment.

Learners need to know that they must save water, reduce energy consumptions, dispose of waste responsibly, and think about the cost to the environment before buying things.
