I like to think what sets us apart from others is the fact we come from a design background and have the ability to see the bigger picture with what our clients are trying to achieve; helping them to create furniture that’s not only right for them, but right for their customers, purpose and environment. Everything we do is made to order by our team of skilled craftsmen here in the UK, which opens the door of opportunity in terms of bespoke and customised orders.
A Q
You can pretty much produce anything and everything it would seem from a design perspective. What are some of your favourite design requests that have dropped in over the years?
We recently created drinking pods for a small coffee shop locally that integrated protective screens and helped create more space for the client; it was this that really got my creative juices flowing and off the back of it we have designed a handful of similar concepts - I just need the time to get prototypes made up!

Another one of my favourites was Str[eat] which is located in the NEC Birmingham. We had the opportunity to really flex our creativity and explore new products and use of materials. We created concrete tables that were sat on used oil drums that we had graffiti painted, with matching high stools along with eating pods that were like an open cage that ran either side of the seating area, defining the dining space in the mall. We also ran festoon lighting from side to side of the pods that created a sense of warmth and brought the outdoors in.
What products are an absolute must if someone is looking to really nail an industrial look for an interior or event?
I don’t think it’s necessary the products that make the industrial look, as products are dictated by how the space is used; its more to do with the materials used and how they are incorporated in the given environment.
