t Original Cottages, we’re a family of holiday homes stretching all across England and Wales. Looked after by locals who know
these places like their own back gardens. Because often, that’s what they are. And because our local people truly live and breathe our local communities, we understand the impor- tance of doing our bit to support them. That’s why we’re partnering with UK Community
Foundations (UKCF) to give back to our holiday des- tinations - and the places we call home.
Supporting our Devon Community With every booking we received from 1st February
until 31st March, a donation was made to UKCF which will share among community foundations in seven local regions served by Original Cottages including Devon, the home of Blueriver Cottages, part of the Original Cottages Family. Gemma Davenport, Devon & Dorset Brand
Manager, said: “What we pride ourselves on is that we offer the best of both worlds: a national portfolio alongside truly local presence and expertise. This means we have local teams in all of our holiday locations. And because those teams live and breathe our local communities, we are very aware of what is going on in these areas. “We recognise that the past 12 months have been
tough for local communities. So we wanted to donate, to aid and support their recovery, it’s our way of giving back to the areas and communities our local teams and homeowners live, work and support”

charities and people across the region from bereaved children, young adults facing homelessness to adults facing financial crisis or loneliness but to name a few. Trevi is a local project, where women in recovery from addiction and domestic abuse can start to build a new life in Plymouth. Meanwhile, Wellbeing Exeter is an incredible resource for tackling wellbeing through connecting people with their community. For more information on our campaign with DCF, or
