Director backs cable campaign
Cannock Chamber director Chris Plant is backing a campaign aiming to raise £100,000 for cancer research. The campaign has been launched by specialist cable
company DP Building Systems, which is raising funds for Cancer Research by selling specially coloured fast charging cables. As part of the campaign, DP is inviting people to
‘name a cable’, in order to generate additional donations, something which has been taken up by Chris Plant. He said: “A part of the partnership is a campaign
called ‘name a cable’’, where everyone can nominate a named of a loved one to be selected by Cancer Research UK to feature with the products. “Cancer Research UK will randomly select names
throughout the months of the partnership to ensure as many names can be honoured. “I have nominated my nan Lilly to be honoured with
products being launched in partnership with Cancer Research UK. “It is quick and easy, either visit

years, family and friends of DP Building Systems have been affected by cancer, and that’s why we have decided to support Cancer Research UK. “We hope that the ‘name a cable’ campaign will
generate additional donations to the charity, help people across the nation celebrate and remember the lives of loved ones, plus show support for nurses, doctors, specialists -and anyone who has been involved in beating cancer.”
