AROUND TOWN PALM SPRINGS ART The newly unveiled Love Letters sculpture (a

perfect Instagram-able stop) in downtown Palm Springs is a project of the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Palm Springs Public Arts Commission and PS Resorts. Located near the Kimpton Rowan Hotel, it is a photo op galore. Just down from the Stay Human by Colette Miller angels’ wings mural and from the metal sculpture with the different perspective, depend- ing on where you walk. It’s right around the corner from the Crawling Babies art display near the Palm Springs Art Museum. And the Commission, along with the Main Street Merchants of downtown Palm Springs, announced their artists-painted down- town bench project. Vivid colored themed painted benches are located throughout the area. Look for fabulous murals, utility boxes, trash cans and other painted treasures for viewing pleasure. pspublicarts.com
