Equestrian Canada Jumping Committee Recognizes Two Long-Serving Outgoing Members
Ottawa, ON, June 12, 2020 – Equestrian Canada (EC) would like to recognize out- going EC Jumping Commit- tee members, Pamela Law of Saint-Lazare, QC, and Mike Lawrence of Camp- bellville, ON, for over two decades of combined years of service. Law has an extensive

Coupled with past experi- ence as an athlete and horse show manager, and holding certifications as an EC cer- tified Senior Judge for Jumping, Hunter and Hunt Seat Equitation, Law’s con- tinued involvement has been a great asset to the Canadian jumping commu- nity.

JC Rules and Levy Commit- tee, held the position of JC Competitions Committee Chair from 2009-2014 and was a valued Jumping Com- mittee member from 2016- 2020. Many other EC Committees benefited from his insight and knowledge, including National Rules, Competition

up your horse’s energy level but don’t let him go too fast. You’re looking for keeping good balance as you ne-
gotiate each part of the pattern. You may find your horse softening over the back, left to right, and becoming bouncier. If he offers to slow his legs slightly but stay strong and forward in his gait, you know you’re definitely on the right track! Make sure you do the same.
