As is the case with sponsorships during individual sessions, presenters must approve ads run before their papers, and as is the case with the paper presentations, associated ads will run on-demand when the papers are viewed after original presentation. It goes without saying that INCAST


Magazine and the INCAST Newsletter both offer advertising and sponsorship opportunities, and there is no better place to reach the investment casting community with your in-print ads than in INCAST Magazine.

Something New for the Foundries One thing that caught us by surprise when we took our survey was the number of foundries wanting to exhibit. We had planned on offering our foundries this opportunity for the World Conference, but we did not anticipate the level of demand that actually exists. I raised the topic at our last Technical Committee meeting, and it was agreed that the foundries will be afforded this opportunity at the 2020 virtual event. It has been our long standing practice to offer a one-time complimentary Expo pass to our exhibitors’ non-member customers. We will continue this practice at the virtual event, and extend this courtesy to all exhibiting Members.


Falling Short? This is a new approach to our annual big event, and I fully acknowledge that an


article in INCAST Magazine falls short of truly experiencing the power of this new tool. The ICI staff and I have had the good fortune of participating in a vast array of product demonstrations and are truly convinced that if used correctly, there is a tremendous opportunity for exhibitors to successfully promote their companies and reap tremendous rewards for their efforts. Since it is not practical for our exhibitors to devote the same level of effort that we have to this event, and since the written word cannot adequately address the opportunity, we felt it appropriate to offer potential attendees and exhibitors So
