IN THE SPOTLIGHT: CREATIVE INDUSTRIES

123 INTERNET GROUP & PALLITE WORK TOGETHER TO PROMOTE POP-UP DESKS

What started as a simple, creative idea to create cardboard furniture has now swept the UK. While Pallite usually offers a range of lightweight, recyclable paper

pallets, they have recently released a line of pop up desks for both home schooled children and adults who are remote working during this uncertain period. 123 Internet Group’s CEO, Scott Jones, originally approached Pallite to

order these desks for staff while they worked from home. He believed it was a fantastic idea but, following a Zoom call with Pallite CEO, Iain Hulmes, quickly realised that they were focusing on B2B marketing, not B2C, which these products were aligned towards. Scott said: “As a locally based business and fellow Chamber of

Commerce members, it’s great to be able to work closely with Pallite to support their digital marketing needs.” After urging Pallite to take advantage of the Sprout Social 3 Month Free

Campaign, 123 Internet proceeded to carry out market research. From this they created a robust social media strategy, as well as design assets, and are now supporting Pallite with daily social media management. Iain said: “Prior to Covid-19, all Pallite marketing was aimed at business

users, but the launch of the pop-up desk range required us to urgently gear up for B2C sales as well. “Scott and his team were

able to respond quickly and their understanding of social media has been a huge help in growing our sales, social presence and followers.”

The team specialise in immersive virtual tours, local SEO (Google My Business Listing) optimisation and management, commercial and drone photography and filming. Over the past few months, the business has

been working with a local County Council, providing 360º virtual tours for nine separate recycling centres. Each was uploaded to Google Street View, which also integrates into

Google Maps and Search. A Google Street View virtual tour is also visible on your Google My Business listing. It provides an excellent local SEO boost for your listing, also known as the Local 3 Pack. 360 Visual Media are accredited by Google as Street View/Google Trusted Photographers. Each tour can be monitored using a Street View reporting system, providing important statistics. The team also created overlays for each

tour, which makes the tour bespoke for each business, adding information tags, videos, website links, text, and images. The virtual

tour creation has been so successful that it has led to optimising and managing the Council's Google My Business listings. What many firms don’t realise it that every

business will have a Google My Business listing; many set them up and leave them, or a company never claims that listing. 360 Visual Media offers a free Google My

Business strategy call. Please get in touch to book your session and find out more about this powerful local SEO tool.
