THE PRESTON ROOMS – THE VILLAGE HALL Hello everyone!


The nature of this article has obviously changed – we would normally be encouraging you all to come and join us at the next event at the Preston Rooms. Obviously at the time of writing, we don’t know if any of the events planned for 2020 will now take place.


In the meantime I hope that you are all finding plenty of jobs to keep you occupied or perhaps you are all just enjoying a change of routine.

CHARITY PLANT STALL A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the plant stall at The Hub over the last 2 months. It was a real community effort with many people helping in some way by lending the stall components, printing signage, offering plants to sell as well as all those who bought for their gardens. We are delighted to say that £4,000 was sent to Foodbank and they have been incredibly grateful at this difficult time. We have had very positive feedback from visitors to the stall who have been glad to have a distraction during lockdown and somewhere to go on their daily exercise. Hoveton Village Hall Funday 20th June 2020 Owing to the present shutdown of Hoveton Village Hall & Park the event will now be held on June 19th 2021.


Wroxham Church Hall is available for hire during the day. It has a modern kitchen, good facilities and good car parking and central heating recently installed in the main hall. Plenty of dates available in August. For more information ring Pat Mills, Tel. 01603 783682 Please note that due to the coronavirus situation there will be no coffee mornings in Wroxham Church Hall for the next 3 months.
