Jon Sidwick, Managing Director, Maverick AV Solutions, has left the company the company af- ter 23 years’ service. Sidwick certainly played his part in transforming a local projection supplier on a shabby Reading industrial estate into an AV solutions business with a lot of crossover with IT and a pan-Eu- ropean market in professional AV, smart signage and collabo- ration. Jon's successor will be Joel Chimoindes, the current Vice President of Maverick AV Solution. Joel will continue to manage the European senior management team and 19 spe- cialist country divisions. Sidwick said: “Maverick has been in my DNA for over two decades since I started as Managing Director with just six employees. We have seen a huge deal of change, which has accelerated in recent years with new opportunities arising from the proliferation of VC and smart technologies. The business has never had more exciting prospects and a more brilliant portfolio of vendors, so I feel that now is the right time to pass the baton of leadership to Joel and the team." Nena will be the go-to technical ex- pert for TIG’s UC team across the DACH region, focussing in particular on the Enterprise product range from Crestron.
