Panasonic has announced availability of two cost-efficient LCD projector series offering ultra-long life, low total cost of ownership and high con- trast image quality. Ideal for the office and classroom, the new series comprise of six PT- LB426 Series portable and four PT-TW381R Series short-throw LCD projector models with WXGA and XGA resolution and brightness ranging from 3100- 4100lm. The series update ex- isting lines with higher contrast images and wider connectivity options.

Antycip VR CAVE at Phidias Lab
The University of Huddersfield recently installed a state-of-the- art VR CAVE system at its new Barbara Hepworth Building, named after the famous sculp- tor. Home of the School of Art, Design and Architecture, the building boasts a 7,500sqm space and is designed to support multi-disciplinary learning. The VR CAVE, housed in the School’s Phidias Lab, was installed by VR integration specialist Antycip Simulation on behalf of its client Roche AV.

Designed to function as an ex- perimental AR and head-mount- ed display (HMD) facility, the Phidias Lab promotes the de- velopment of the school’s digital strategy through encouraging the creation of digital content and immersive VR. It is home to an eight-screen video wall with
