“On the good side, our supply chain is 99% intact, only problem we have see thus far is some suppliers are increasing lead times due to transportation delays or reduced staff but generally no short term impact. We’ve had no order cancellations or push out, in fact we are seeing increased pressure from customers to stick to schedule or expedite.
On the not good side, the Pandemic has created anxiety and stress in the workplace, some employees not willing to return to work out of fear. Thanks to regular and consistent communication with employees, about 97% of our workforce is still intact. We have had to make rapid changes in our factory to accommodate social distancing orders passed down from the Governor. This means reducing number of people in cubicle areas, manufacturing floor, turning conference rooms into office space, etc. However, we’ve managed through it. The economic unknown is concerning, we don’t know what we don’t know.
