From The President

Hello Friends, I hope everyone had a great holiday and are off to a

terrific new year. The Florida Federation of Fairs was once again well represented in Tallahassee as we part- nered with Farm Bureau to educate our legislators on the importance of fairs. If you have never been to this event I highly recommend attending. Thank you to Belle City Amusements for donating the cotton candy and candy apples that we handed out at the reception. Our spring fair season is well underway and I wish all great success. I have

already had the opportunity to visit a few fairs this spring and I plan to visit many more in the coming weeks, I am always amazed by the quality fairs we have here in Florida. I enjoy talking with my fair friends and seeing the changes and new ideas they have with the hope to borrow some of those ide- as to make our Fair better. The annual Fair Partners Shootout was held on February 7th and was the

best one yet. A big Thank You to Kathy Ross and the Clay shoot committee for a job well done. The Florida Federation of Fairs has a great partnership with NICA and OABA and I want to thank those organization for helping make this event a success, even though our team didn't win a good time was had by all!

Convention is rapidly approaching and will be in St. Augustine May 14 - 16

with The Golf Tournament being held on Wednesday May 13th. We will have the items that were planned for Summer Workshop on the program as well as some new and exciting topics.

tee are working hard to make sure this year's convention has something for everyone. I hope to see you all in May.
