A Presentation on Aquaboxes showed that their mission was simply … “to provide safe drinking water and humanitarian aid to those in desperate need in the aftermath of nature and man-made disasters across the globe”.

NOVEMBER 2019: ISSUE 127

There were a number of slides showing such disasters and others on their water and how much they cost - £25 for a family Aquafilter unit, £250 for a Community Unit and £150 for an Aquabox and contents.

A Presentation on ShelterBoxes updated where operations were current and showed the contents. However they did state that box contents need not always be the same and were steered by what families really needed.

One item being sent that is making a really big difference is solar lights. Not only are they used to light homes but to increase safety in the camps when used, particularly for women venturing out at night.
