22. Continue straight ahead, pass through a five-bar gate and keep going. The path becomes a gravel track, carry on in the same direction. The White Horse Trail continues ahead of you in the same direction across cropped fields. You will pass a footpath and concrete road on your right – ignore and carry on in the same direction.


23. You will reach a five-bar gate, pass through and continue in the same direction across the fields, following it until you reach the road. Look to your left and across the road you will see a footpath. Cross the stile to follow this path.


24. Head towards the middle telegraph pole or take the field edge until you reach a double stile. Cross the stiles and head diagonally left across this field to another stile.


25. After 50 metres you will see another stile on right. Cross this stile into an alleyway and turn left to follow the alleyway between a fence and a hedge.

26. When you reach the end, turn left along a driveway to reach the road, where you will see Chapel Lane straight ahead, which takes you back to the church.
