1. Start from the church, from the car park, head out on the grassy track away from the road. You will pass an allotment on your right and go through a gap in the hedge into a field.
2. Turn right in the field to follow the path with a hedge and field on your left and some trees on your right. The path bears round to the right and after a while you come out of the wooded area, passing some houses on your right.
Useful information Location and parking:
Park by the church in Broad Hinton, which is just off the B4041.
Terrain: There are a few steep climbs towards the
end of the walk, but it’s mostly flat. Some parts of the walk become a bit overgrown in summer, but they are passable. There is one bit of road with no pavement, so take care.
Distance: 8.76m (14.1km) Time: 3.5 hours
Note: Dogs should be kept on leads around livestock.

3. This path takes you to a road where you turn left and then immediately left again to take the byway.
4. Follow this byway for about a mile, through a wooded area and out to a crossroads where you head straight on along a No Through road.

7. Head straight across a third field towards some woodland, passing the woodland on your left. You will also pass a white thatched cottage on your left and the path will take you to a gravel track.
5. After about half a mile, you will reach two houses on the left. Opposite the first house turn right through a wooden gate to follow the footpath straight ahead, which goes through the middle of a field.
6. At the top of the field, bear right then left through a gap in the hedge and then head straight across another two fields, following the clearly marked path.
