8. Turn right onto the gravel track and follow it to a road, where you turn left down the hill towards Clyffe Pypard. Note this road doesn’t have a pavement, so take great care.
9. Follow the road down into the village of Clyffe Pypard and when you get to a turning on the right,

turn along this road towards the village and the church.
10. Just after the pub, look out for a lane on your right. There is a sign saying private drive, but if you read the bottom of the sign you will see it is also a public footpath. Follow

the lane into the church and head straight through the church yard out into a field.
11. Head straight across the path. You will reach a stile, part of the White Horse Trail. Continue over the stile and across the next field.

12. After this field you will reach two stiles, which you cross into another field. At this point, take time to admire the lovely views to your left and straight ahead you will see the Broad Town White Horse.
13. You will reach a stile which you cross into a field. Stay straight ahead until you reach another stile by a metal five-bar gate. Cross this stile to follow a path between two hedges.

14. Pass through a metal gate to follow the track to the road, where you turn right. Keep going until you reach a staggered cross-roads in the village of Broad Town, where you go straight ahead into Chapel Lane.
