M.D. of Taber park remains one of Southern Alberta’s fi nest
Clean and green continues to the Municipal District of Taber park’s motto. North of Taber on Hwy. 864, the M.D. Park is one of the most picturesque in the region.
It is located on the banks of the Oldman River, nestled in a wooded valley among towering cliffs.
Besides campsites with power, fi rewood, heated showers and
potable water, there is also a day-use area, free to use for anybody who wants to go down and enjoy the playground and walking trails, picnic tables and baseball diamonds.
For those who like bird watching and nature, visitors can follow several trails along the banks of the river
or ride bikes along the internal gravel road system. The park also
includes an outdoor amphitheater and a beach volleyball court.
