paloosa Youth Foundation re-
cently named winners of several national youth contests. Lydia George, Farmerville, LA, won the Youth Essay, ages 14-18, as well as Youth Photography, ages 14-15.
The Navajo Nation 4-H Junior Horse
Show series kicked off July 5 in Window Rock, AZ. The series consists of 5 shows, with 3 in Arizona, one in Crownpoint, NM, and an- other in Ramah, NM. The first show’s HP champions were Jordan Meador (Novice), Eli Meador (Junior), and Jace Begay (Senior).
The Elite Summer Sizzle, held July 18-
21 in Waco, paid out 138,488.11! Kysan Buckner and Pyron Rose won the Youth 1D with 14.966, and Lisa Nicholas and Stoli My Guy won the Open 1D Average with a total of 29.871.
