BUSINESS AWARDS 2019
THAMES VALLEY MAGAZINE
Thursday November 28 Royal Berkshire Conference Centre Reading
Spend an evening with Vernon Kay
Having been spotted by a model scout at the BBC’s Clothes Show Live, Vernon began a successful modelling career before moving into TV in 2000 with a regular presenting opportunity on Channel 4’s hugely popular show ‘T4’.
His love of music led him to join Radio 1 in 2006 presenting his weekend show until he left the station in 2012. He then fronted his own mid- morning show on the re-launched Radio X from 2015 until 2017.
Vernon has gone on to host a number of high-profile entertainment shows across numerous channels including All Star Family Fortunes, Splash!, 1000 Heartbeats and Beat The Star for ITV1, Just the Two of Us (alongside his wife, Tess Daly) and The World’s Greatest Elvis for BBC 1 and Girls & Boys, Home for the Holidays and NFL Highlights for Channel 4.
More recently his passion for sport has been transferred to screen, having presented both the Golf Sixes event, The Hero Challenge Golf Series along with co-presenting the live NFL coverage for Sky Sports and hosting Formula E for Discovery.
