Investment Casting Seminar for Tinker Air Force Base

ast month, the Investment Cast- ing institute, in cooperation with Youngstown Business Incubator,
Youngstown University and America Makes, conducted a seminar on invest- ment casting for 52 sourcing and engi- neering personnel from Tinker Air Force Base. This event was the culmination of
efforts from industry professionals
across the United States. Led by Edu- cation Committee Chairman Nip Singh and Executive Director Joseph Fritz, 12 learning modules were developed and presented over the two day program in Midwest City, OK at Rose State College. The Director of AF Sustainment In-
novation Centers - AFSC/EN, Lt Col Chris Blackwell commented: “The class was a great success! I was able to speak with a few of the attendees who offered their praises for the content and knowledge level of the instructors….
