Keynoting the event was the Honorable Sarah Eckhardt, Judge, Travis County. “With this mixed-use development, Travis County will continue to provide the vital services of the Health and Human Services offices, Vet- erans Services, and Passport and Jury Services, and create much needed affordable housing,” said Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt. “By working with our partners, Travis County is serving the needs of our constituents, all while remaining fiscally responsible.” Also speaking were Council Mem- ber Greg Casar and Travis County Commissioner Jeff Travillion whose dis- tricts include the North Campus Redevelopment.

“DMA is honored to have been selected by the County as its partner for this challenging endeavor. This ground- breaking is the culmination of three years of collaboration by all the parties involved and proves that a product de- veloped through teamwork is infinitely better than what any one of us could have produced in isolation,” stated Diana McIver, President, DMA Development Company. “This development exemplifies this year’s TALHFA Confer- ence theme – The Power of Partnerships.”
