We’re looking for someone to join our team as an Advertising Sales Executive within our tourism and lifestyle portfolio. Who are you? We are looking for a positive, hardworking individual with great local knowledge and excellent communication skills, who is looking for an opportunity to develop themselves. You’ll be given the opportunity to work on our tourism and lifestyle products, particularly the local Community Newspapers as well as opportunities with Visit Suffolk and Visit Norfolk, Places and Faces magazine and more. Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided by our experienced team members, as well as ongoing support and development. Role


Use our experience and customer base, built up over the last 40 years, to sell promotional opportunities within our tourism and lifestyle titles. Speak to local businesses over the phone, by email and face to face, building relationships with our existing client base, as well as looking for new companies who may have an interest in our products. Guide clients through the whole process from the initial contact to designing their advert.

Working alongside our sales team, you will be responsible for driving and setting up the show unit for events across Britain and Ireland. This will include game fairs, country shows and other dog related activities and events. The role will include some weekends and overnight stays.


Based in Stradbroke at our head office, you will be required to book events and stand space, hotel accommodation, manage stock and point of sale for all activity.

ACCOMPANIED on the piano by Will Fergusson from Norwich, twenty-one year old Alice Howell will be giving a solo concert at The Cut Theatre, Halesworth on Saturday 6th July at 7.30pm. It will be a classical concert with works sung in English, French, German and Italian.


Alice is excited to announce that she has been accepted to finish her degree at the prestigious and world renowned Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London. Alice was first drawn to a career in performance during school where she developed an enjoyment for performing on stage in concerts, dance shows and plays. As a result of this, she decided to study UAL Musical Theatre in Further Education for the purposes of exploring the different aspects of singing, dance, acting and stage performance. While at college, she performed in Musical Showcases and Musicals such as The Witches of Eastwick, Berlin to Broadway with Kurt Weill and Little Shop of Horrors. She first started having

classical singing lessons outside of school at age fifteen. Alice has studied BMus Performance


Vocal at the


University of Chichester for the past three years where her main focus has been on classical repertoire for soprano voice. She has performed solos and duets in the tutor led and student directed concerts that take place at the University. She has also performed


in Masterclasses


with the likes of Jeremy Fisher, The Voice UK vocal coach and Soprano, Louise Walsh. In addition to this, she has recently become involved with the University’s Jazz department where she has taken part in Jazz vocal workshops and has performed most weeks in the music department’s Jazz night. In her first year she gained a place in the University’s Chamber Choir and was one of a select group of twelve who sang for the Otter Consort. She has toured with the Chamber Choir in Prague (2017) and Germany (2018) and sung in Leeds Cathedral and in Symphony Hall, Birmingham. She has sung with the Otter Consort


at paid weddings and funerals and at evensong services in Chichester, Winchester and Salisbury Cathedrals. Alice’s other recent singing experience includes working as a paid choral scholar for Arundel Cathedral. In her first year she was the soprano soloist in Faure’s Requiem at St Edmunds Church, Southwold and for Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria in D Major’ and Mendelssohn’s ‘Hear My Prayer/O for the Wings of a Dove’ at Saint Mary’s Church, Bungay. In December 2018, she was the soprano soloist for a local Chichester choral society, St Richard Singers in Haydn’s ‘Missa Sancti Nicolai’. In April 2019 she was the soprano soloist in Philip Ledger’s


Requiem for Froxfield Choir’s ‘Night Flight’ concert.


In her spare time, she enjoys song writing and writing poetry. She has performed her original music, where she accompanies herself on piano, in open mic nights and at a few events at the University. She also enjoys dancing and took part in dance classes including Ballet, Pointé work, Tap, Jazz and Street dance from when she was a child up until she started University.
