ith consumers becoming ever more design-savvy, gone are the days that the big spenders
in the market for a design-led product using a collection of stunning materials – including metals, stones, woods – yet having a simplicity of specification and construction at an accessible price point.
He says that the aim of this new brand vision is to empower design professionals to partner with a brand that inspires and which is relevant in today’s market. “Throughout this process our goal was to make the brand accessible to a wider audience than the current crop of luxury European brands by virtue of material, construction and price,” he says.
The brand is called Cabbonet – taken from the 13th century old English word for ‘a chest for safe keeping’ – and it embraces eclecticism by offering an inspiring selection of materials and finishes. It consists of a flexible range of highly refined products, designed, engineered, and tailored to each client’s needs, tastes and environment.
