Annual Exclusive Secret Garden Tour
he 22nd annual Secret Gardens Tour will take place from 9 a.m.
to 4 p.m., June 2 (rain date June 9), in Hoboken, sharing the hidden treasures of 10 or more homeown- ers and their gardening secrets to support the Hoboken Historical Museum’s fundraising efforts, with assistance from the Hoboken Gar- den Club and Hufnagel Landscape Design and Construction Group. Tese lush, green spaces include Japanese Zen gardens,
English cottage gardens and even a Moroccan courtyard. Some spaces are less garden and more outdoor rooms designed for working out or lounging. Te tour is self-guided. Reserve a ticket in advance, and then, on the day of the tour, pick up a tour booklet at the Museum between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and visit the gardens. Te booklet includes a map and descriptions of each of the
gardens, as well as suggestions for brunch, lunch and tea op- tions. Garden owners, Hoboken Garden Club members and museum volunteers will greet guests at each of the homes. Com- fortable shoes, sun protection and sunglasses are advised.
