couch potato I swear there is just way too much on

TV these days! I grew up in a home where we got two channels clearly, and a third one if you adjusted the rabbit ears just right. Today we have hundreds of channels, plus on-de- mand stuff, movies, Pay Per Views and let’s face it, a person could live on just YouTube if need be. I know a guy who does that! That and Netflix and you have plenty of entertain- ment.

lieve the monthly fee for Netflix is money well spent. They keep coming up with new series, made for Netflix movies, specials and so much more. For example, Dead to Me is a surpris-

ingly good series on Netflix starring Christina Applegate about the friendship she forms with another woman after Applegate’s hus- band is hit and killed while out running on the side of the street. Another “nothing is as it appears to be” shows with death, life, swim- ming pools, real estate sales, screwed up fam- ily dynamics and a star that is extremely easy on the eyes. Binged the first season in a cou- ple of days. The Highwaymen- Woody Harrelson

and Kevin Costner. A great retelling of the Bonnie & Clyde story from the perspective of the police. Also, Netflix. Supergirl. The season ended in great

The only thing that bugs me is this

newer deal where folks like CBS and Disney charge for their “premium” service. It seems like I still have to pay findividually or every- thing I want to see. Being a Star Trek fan, I love the newest series, Discovery, so I am forced to buy CBS All Access to see that one show. I am also a Stephen King fan, so if I want to watch Castle Rock (which has been great!) I have to subscribe to Hulu. I do be-

fashion (SPOILER!) with Lex Luthor being killed by his own sister Lena just after he in- formed her that her buddy Kara is indeed super-hot. I mean, super girl. Sorry. This show continues to improve season to season. Gotham. The series concludes. The bad guys join Gordon in an attempt at taking Gotham back from Bane and his people. Penguin loses an eye. Gordon is promoted to Commissioner. Keen gives birth to Barbara Gordon, the fu- ture Bat Girl. Bruce leaves Gotham. Returns and becomes Batman. A really nice final episode shows the true beginnings of Joker, Catwoman, Riddler and Penguin. . . Turn it Up- A Celebration of Electric Guitar airing on Grapevine Channel. Hosted by Kevin Bacon. A truly fun celebration of six strings. Les Paul, Teddy Zig Zag (Boxmas- ters/Alice Cooper), Dickey Betts, Paul Stan- ley, Slash and many others. Good stuff.. . Star Trek: Discovery Season Two on Hulu
