Sevenoaks welcomes its very own parenting show at The Stag Theatre when Acorns to Oaks promises a huge range of local businesses all under one roof, including doulas, baby sleep experts, swimming and activity classes, car seat specialists, baby goods, photographers, fi rst aid classes, breastfeeding consultants, dance schools and many more.


“Sevenoaks has a thriving community of young families and there is a huge demand for services aimed at babies and young children,” explains local mum and business owner Colette Beard, adding: “Facebook forums are always full of parents and caregivers asking for information on classes and


products for their children, so it seemed like


a natural idea to bring us all together.” Acorns to Oaks takes place on 6th April at the Plaza Suite, Stag Theatre TN13 1ZZ, from 10am-3pm, with free entry and goody bags for the fi rst 50 through the door. • For more information, email a_2_o@outlook.com


Wild child


Picture a woodland hideaway, a magical setting, a giant tarpaulin shelter, hammocks and dens made from fallen branches, cooking marshmallows over a fi re, playing in the mud, whittling wood and nature crafts… Friends of the Commons have teamed up with Kent High Weald Partnership and are offering free forest school sessions to children this spring on: • Tuesday 9th April, Tunbridge Wells Common. • Tuesday 16th April, Rusthall Common. • Thursday 30th May, Tunbridge Wells Common. The Forest Schools on the Common sessions are free to all who turn up with no booking necessary. Adults must attend with children and no dogs are permitted.
