INBUSINESS VIEWPOINT

Entries have been flooding in for our first-ever Next Generation Business Awards. I am thrilled by the response we have had to this already, with

hopefuls filling in our online entry form on the day that the Awards were launched last month. We are very excited to be able to use this platform to

recognise the future business leaders in our area, who are already making a huge difference in their chosen field. These millennials are young and ambitious, dedicated and

hardworking and deserve to be recognised for their talent and – perhaps more importantly – their effort and perseverance. We have five awards up for grabs – Creative Sector Star of The Year, Hospitality Star of

the Year, Service Industry Star of the Year, Milton Keynes Star of the Year and Northamptonshire Star of the Year. These cover key sectors in our region and allow for a huge variety of workers from different industries to take part. Have you entered yet? The Next Generation Chamber has been more successful in less than 18 months than we

could have imagined and we know that this ceremony will cement its standing in the young business community it supports. Many local firms have added their support to the event, with Beyond Theory and EMW

Law LLP being our first award sponsors. We are most grateful to them for investing in our Awards and for showing their support to the next generation of those who will shape our local economy in the years ahead. We are grateful to all who have backed this

venture so far and would encourage all aspiring professionals starting out in their careers to considering entering the awards. Or perhaps you could nominate a colleague who you believe is worthy of a gong. You have until 12 April to enter. Visit
