BACKGROUND: “I didn’t go to university. I left school at 18 and joined an accountancy firm as a trainee. I qualified there and moved to PwC in Birmingham. I was there for five-six years. I was looking for a new challenge as I had proved myself in the marketplace. I saw a real opportunity to develop something quite interesting and special in MK, and there was a good team being built here at the time. There was an opportunity to help grow the business and do something on a different scale, and push and develop myself in a new environment.”


ON THE COMPANY: “We want to break that myth that we only deal with the FTSE 100s or large corporates of this world. As an organisation we are diverse about who we want to work for.”


ON JOINING THE CHAMBER: “I’ve dealt with the Chambers throughout my career and the consistent message for me across the Chambers is the investment into local business and trying to support that local economy. That backing and support of businesses, no matter what their size, is really important.”
