BRAUNTON FUNDRAISING GROUP FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK BEETLE DRIVE - Thursday 24th January 2019
Come and join us for a post Christmas laugh a minute night out! 7pm at the Braunton Venue.
The hardworking group of fundraisers for Cancer research UK are glowing with the success of their efforts in 2018! We have been able to forward £12,700 to Cancer Research since October 2017, with the monies from the recent Christmas Coffee Morning and the Chocolate Tombola at the Braunton Christmas Market still to be allocated.
This is all due to you, the most generous folk of Braunton! You have supported us all the way by coming to our events from Bingo to Penny for the Guy. Every coin you put in our collection buckets goes directly to help with vital research into a cure for cancer. Undoubtedly we have all had the misfortune to face cancer within our family or friend or work colleague, without the research that is going on the treatment they receive would not be possible. Research is not
funded by government as you may think but solely by groups such as ours, so please continue to help us in any way you can, and one day there will be a cure for cancer.
