Benji is a handsome four-year-old Terrier who is looking for a home from Dogs Trust Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre.

Once Benji knows you he forms a close loving bond. It doesn’t take him long to get to know someone and when he does he absolutely adores fuss and cuddles, and he snuggles up on your lap. He is an extremely affectionate boy. He enjoys playing with toys, especially a ball. He also likes ‘find it’ games and treat puzzles. He knows a sit, down and paw and hangs out in our back office where he enjoys having a snooze. He enjoys his walks but doesn’t need much exercise as he has hip dysplasia, which is managed by medication and reduced exercise. He is happy, he’s doing very well and it is assessed every month by the vet. Benji needs his walks to be quiet, and peaceful, and away from the hustle and bustle.

Benji is looking for patient, understanding adopters in an adult only home. He needs a home where he can feel safe and secure. He would like a quiet home, and to be the only pet in the home so he can have all the attention that he loves to himself. He would like a secure garden and potential adopters must be prepared to visit Benji a few times at the centre to build that loving bond with him. He is happy to travel in a car to get to those peaceful walks.

If you think you can give Benji the loving, forever home he deserves, then please give our Canine Carers a call at our Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre on 01271 812709, we are open every day between 12noon and 4pm except Wednesday when we are open from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.
