Community Work Hub Opens for Business
Braunton Parish Council is delighted to announce that its new Community Work Hub in Braunton is now open for business.
Following the closure of the Braunton Police Station in 2016-17 the Parish Council purchased the building to keep a police presence in Braunton, and provide a Community Work Hub for small start-up businesses, home-based and mobile workers.
The police have retained an office within the building, and the remainder of the building has been turned into a community work hub providing four fully furnished modern offices and 6 affordable hot desks from £10 per day.
Tracey Lovell the Parish Clerk says, “This is a fantastic facility for Braunton bringing the community and local business sector together. With a growing number of people becoming self-employed the Braunton Work Hub provides affordable professional office space, with no binding contracts or penalties.

Enabling small
The ‘social hub’ area is a place to meet and greet clients, exchange information and network with like- minded people. Providing fresh bean coffee this open planned area can be used for relaxation or collaborative working. Office space hire starts from £54 per week and the hot desks can be booked for half

The project to create the Braunton Work Hub was funded by Devon Work Hubs and Braunton Parish Council. The Council used local businesses and trades to create and furnish the building.
