do you know the facts? How did you score?

For each correct answer, give yourself three points. Correct answers are: 1a); 2d); 3c); 4b); 5a); 6d).

13-18 points Congratulations, you achieved a top score. But do you put your knowledge into action when you’re affected by a headache or migraine yourself? If you’re not sure of the best ways to treat either condition, your local Careway pharmacist can help provide advice and product recommendations. Find your nearest Careway pharmacy at www.careway.co.uk/find- a-pharmacy.

7-12 points Pretty good, you have a decent amount of knowledge of this subject. However you may not always find it easy to tell the difference between a headache and a migraine. One way to distinguish between them is to decide whether you’re feeling pain on one side of the head or throughout the forehead or scalp – if the sensations are intense and just on one side, it’s most likely to be a migraine.

0-6 points You’re no expert on headache and migraine facts. But as long as you know that you can ask your local Careway pharmacist about your symptoms, you can treat your pain in the most appropriate and effective way. Your pharmacist can also advise you when you should see your GP for a headache – for instance, if you get headaches several times a week or the pain you experience is severe, or when it’s accompanied by other symptoms.
