Billed as the unmissable global event for the lifting industry, and hosted by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), LiftEx will return to its 2018 venue in Milton Keynes, UK. Tis year’s show included about 80 exhibitors on the show floor and hosted more than 1,000 attendees from the UK and around the world.

Te LiftEx 2018 Gala Dinner included a new program, Te LEEA Awards 2018, celebrating the achievements of LEEA members in eight categories. Breakbulk will run four events this year addressing the needs of traditional breakbulk and project cargo logistics in various regions of the world. First up, BreakBulk Middle East includes a full two-day


conference in addition to an exhibition. Attendance at the 2018 event grew to 1864 attendees, a 36% jump from the prior event, while 70 companies showcased their capabilities on the exhibit floor. Attendees represented all sectors of the industry from every mode of transport, freight forwarders, equipment manufacturers, as well as IT and industry related service providers. BreakBulk Asia (formerly Breakbulk China) is expanding


its reach this year as a reflection of the geographic scope of 2018’s attendees. Te 2018 event drew over 4700 attendees and featured 134 exhibitors. Tis year’s event will include the BreakBulk VIP Shipper Club, with access to a unique lounge

and opportunities to share insight with a conference panel among other benefits. BreakBulk Europe is described as the world’s largest event


for project cargo and breakbulk businesses, drawing in more than 500 exhibitors and sponsors and more than 10,000 participants. New to the show for 2019 are networking lounges in each hall, two outdoor areas for display of large equipment, and three content theaters. And finally, Breakbulk Americas celebrates its 30th


anniversary in 2019. Expect to see over 300 exhibitors and more than 4700 attendees. New for 2019 will be a Latin American Pavilion on the exhibition floor, and select regionally-focused conference sessions. Te show will also close with a 30th anniversary celebration gala.

Bauma bills itself as the worlds leading trade fair, with 605,000 square meters (or 149 acres) of exhibition space. Te seven-day event will feature 3400+ exhibitors, including crane and lifting equipment manufacturers, who will greet well over half a million visitors. Apart from its absolute scale, there are forum events


to explore industry news and trends, and the “Research Live” international information center. Tere, as many as 30 academic institutions will exhibit the results of their research in the industry, enabling visitors to have a “state of the art” view of the impact of science on industry developments.


Offshore Technology Conference May 6-9 / Houston, TX 2019.otcnet.org


More than 70,000 energy professionals are expected to visit Houston‘s NRG Park for OTC2019 in the 50th Anniversary year of the Conference. Tey will be greeted by over 2,000 exhibitors, and will have the opportunity to hear more than 350 technical presentations. Ahead of the show, May 5th in downtown Houston,


the OTC Golden Anniversary Gala Dinner will offer an additional networking opportunity where recipients of OTC Distinguished Achievement Awards will be recognized for their contributions to the industry.
