Extended shopping evenings until 8pm every Wednesday in December, through until Christmas and we are delighted to host the following events in Market Square:


Victorian Evening until 8pm, Wednesday, December 5. Carols with Ogwell Choir from 7pm, Wednesday, December 12. M


C Mayor’s Carol Service from 7pm, Wednesday, December 19.


Walkabout characters will be wandering throughout Market Walk and the markets between 10am-noon on the Saturdays of December 1 and 8 – come and have a selfie with them!

Star Wars Imperial Stormtroopers are back by popular demand and are descending on us between 10am-noon on Saturday, December 15.

Market Hall will also be open Sunday, December 23, 10am- 3pm and there are extra outdoor markets every Friday from November 30 until December 21, but don’t forget we are closed on the Christmas, Boxing and New Year’s Day.
