STAYINGMOTIVATED DURINGWINTER

Stay on track this seasonwith this advice fromPersonal Trainer KatyHemelyrk

Hi everyone! I hope thismonth’s article finds youwell! I’ve been really busy recently setting upmy own exclusive, private gyminCheltenham running 8week transformations, bootcamps and 1-2-1 personal training sessions. It’s been a lot of hardwork but nowwe’re up and runningwe’re really busy! It’s great to see somany peoplewanting to improve their health, fitness and confidence. I feel so passionate about showing others you can enjoy health and fitness and feel amazing! It’s getting to that time of year

whenwe start thinking about our health and deciding tomake a positive change. With that inmind, I wanted to sharemy top tips on how to do this.

1.Create aplanof action andwrite itdown.Come upwith some healthy recipes you’re going to follow, decided howmany times aweek you’re going to exercise andwhat kind of thing you’re going to do.Agoal without a plan is just awish. 2. Findyour support system. It’s tough to go it alone, most people need someone going through itwith themor a coach to hold them accountable.Maybe it’s your family whowill get behind you and cheer you on. Eitherway, it’ll bemuch easier knowing you’ve got help to call uponwhen it gets tough. 3.Bepatient. There is nomagic pill

or quick fix if you’re looking for LASTINGweight-loss, health and fitness. These things take time. It’s the small consistent changes you make thatwill have the biggest impact. 4. Findthe fun. If you don’t enjoy spending an hour on the treadmill…don’t do it! There are so many different forms of exercise out there, fromgroup classes to outdoor activities. Findwhat you enjoy and do that. 5.Batchmake healthymeals for the week.Make yourweeknights a little easier by batchmaking a healthy curry, chilli or shepherd’s pie using lean cuts ofmeat or beans&lentils. Try swappingwhite potatoes for sweet potatoes on your shepherd’s pie too!

7.Move.Burn calories through everydaymovements such as increasing your steps for the day as well asworking out. Themore you move themore calories you burn. Take the stairs not the lift, get off one stop early on the bus etc. 8.Work hard.Nothingworth having comes easy and it’ll happen a lot quicker if youwork hard. Push yourself duringworkouts, you know your own limits andwhether you could beworking harder.Challenge yourself. That’swhen you’ll growas a person and see changes to your body. Good luck and if you need any help

of have any questions, please send me an email.

6.Pack your gymbag andsetout your clothes the nightbefore. It’s easy to jump out of bedwhen the sun is already shining but not so easy when it’s still dark. Packing your clothes the night before gives you 5 moreminutes in bed before getting up and exercising.
