The shopping event Frosty Festival is 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 17 and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 18 at The Sheid at Arkansas State University Mountain Home. Admission is $5, with children 12 and under free. The festival benefits the community needs efforts of the Junior Auxiliary of Moun- tain Home. The St. Peter’s Cookie Walk at St. Peter the Fisherman’s Catholic Church is from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the parish life center, 249 Dyer St., Moun- tain Home. The community is invited to select and buy from a variety of freshly baked cookies, which are sold by weight. Proceeds benefit the poor through the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
